How Will The National Day of Mourning Affect You?

Washington, DC  (WBAP/KLIF)  On Wednesday, the country will observe a National Day of Mourning, honoring former President George H.W. Bush.  Mr. Bush passed away in his Houston home last Friday at the age of 94.  All federal offices will be closed and there will be no regular mail delivery.  Here’s a list of how other services could be affected.

-All post offices will be closed. There will be no regular mail delivery, and only limited package delivery

-The NYSE and Nasdaq will be closed.  Some banks will be closed.

-The Supreme Court is postponing arguments for a day.

-The House has cancelled all votes for the week and the Senate has postponed votes until after the funeral on Wednesday
