DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF)- Medstar is doing it’s own mobile flu clinic, so you and a group can get vaccinated wherever you are.
Matt Zavadsky with Medstar says hospitals in North Texas are experiencing a significant influx of patients with the flu, so Medstar is being pro-active by offering these mobile flu vaccine clinics for 10 or more at places of convenience for you. “We are already seeing this increase in flu volume compared to last year and last year was a very difficult time for the flu so it’s not looking very promising,” Zavadsky said.
Medstar reports seeing a five fold increase in flu related calls and North Texas Hospitals are getting crowded.
“We want to make it easier for people so we’ll come to you for your flu shot,” Zavadsky said.
