ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF)- The City of Arlington just opened the largest Esports gaming facility in the country.

Deputy City Manager Jim Parajon said they sold out the entire stadium and had thousands of viewers online for the opening event this past weekend. “It’s a great addition for the city from the perspective that we’re continuing to look at opportunities to expand businesses and business recruitment efforts in our city,” Parajon said.

Parajon said this will bring a lot of revenue to the city from food and beverage, ticket sales and equipment. He also said once the stadium gets an official name the city will get the first $1million worth of naming rights revenue.
