AAA Anticipates Increase in DFW Travelers for Thanksgiving, Heavy traffic

(WBAP/KLIF) – If you’re traveling for Thanksgiving AAA officials warn you to give yourself plenty of time and get your car checked before hitting the roads.

Joshua Zuber with AAA says 4.1 million Texans are expected to travel this thanksgiving, a 5% percent increase than last year. “Traveling can start as early as the Monday before Thanksgiving,” he said.

Zuber said with DFW being a top 10 travel destination, make sure to pack your patience for heavy traffic and get your car checked before hitting the roads.

He urges drivers to be careful, pay attention, and drive sober.
