Frisco ISD Bond Proposal Gets The Thumbs Up

Frisco (WBAP/KLIF)  Voters in Frisco have approved a nearly 700-million dollar bond package for the school district.  Nearly 60% of voters approved the measure which will help build new schools, renovate old schools and pay for a new fine arts auditorium.  Voters also approved a tax swap.  It will move money from the tax rate portion that pays for debt to one that pays for maintenance and operations.  The district will also use some of the money to decrease class sizes and expand other academic programs.
