Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A 49 year old Dallas man who goes to trial next month for allegedly raping a young boy is now charged with trying to hire someone to kill that boy. The would-be killer Daniel Contreras allegedly tried to hire immediately went to the police, saying he wanted nothing to do with Contreras’ plan. According to police Contreras gave that potential accomplice a pistol wrapped in a tee shirt, and a box of bullets, saying he wanted the unnamed boy “in a coma or dead.” Contreras is scheduled to go to trial on the original rape charge December 3.
