Grand Prairie (WBAP/KLIF) – Grand Prairie Police have arrested an 18 year old hit-and-run suspect for allegedly causing as accident that killed a pedestrian. Coreon Jackson was taken into custody at a motel in Mesquite. Grand Prairie investigators say he lost control of his car in the 2300 block of W.E. Roberts Street, and ran down 62 year old Paul Rogers who was walking along the sidewalk on the street’s north side. Rogers was dead on arrival at an Arlington hospital. Grand Prairie Police were lead to Jackson by Crime Stoppers tips.
