Fort Worth Community Prayer to Mourn Killed in Pittsburg Synagogue Shooting

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- Over a thousand Fort Worth community members came together to mourn those who were killed at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. There was a city-wide night of prayer at the Ahavath Shalom Synagogue on South Hulen Street. Among those in the crowd, a Holocaust survivor Tova Feldman. “It feels like we support each other and this is what needs to be done,” Feldman said.  Rabbi Andrew Bloom spoke about going into the world spreading love and doing good. “It’s a true show of the community coming together as one and saying never again to violence and yes to peace,” Bloom said. Bloom said all of this support is what the community needs to heal and move forward.
