Fort Worth Police Address Ordinance for Anti Immigration Activity

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF)- Fort Worth police address a new  city ordinance that will help stop  anti immigration banners and flyers from being put up on the city. Earlier this month a banner saying “Deport them all” was displayed on a bridge and several other anti immigration flyers. City officials say this is not considered a hate crime but a form of free speech under the 1st Amendment. It is considered a class C misdemeanor to display any type of sign without permission from the council. Those who violate this will receive a citation. Police say in the future, if you do see this type of activity to refrain from removing signs and report it to police. This will help further investigation.
