Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A melee erupted Saturday night around Dallas City Hall during “The Hennything Fest” described by the organizers as a celebration of Hennessy Cognac. Sometime during the party a fight broke out. During the fight somebody yelled “shots fired,” and the crowd panicked. Witnesses say people were running in all directions. The ‘shots fired’ calls spread through the crowd, and the police working security at the event called for help, bringing reinforcements from all over the city. When it all settled down it turned out no shots had been fired. No one had been hurt. No arrests had been made.
