Miami,Florida – (WBAP/KLIF) – Tropical Storm Michael could become a dangerous Category 2 hurricane with an expected midweek strike on the Gulf Coast in the Florida Panhandle, forecasts say. Florida’s Governor Rick Scott declared a state of emergency.
“‘Everybody’s got to get ready … Michael could reach land as a Category 2 hurricane with winds in excess of 100 mph. This storm will be life-threatening and extremely dangerous.”
