From 9 a.m. to 7p.m. you can walk in the door of the Amazon fulfillment center in Ccoppell for a hiring event. The company is filling over 3000 jobs in its customer fulfillment & delivery facilities in the Dallas Fort Worth area. You can walk-in, apply, and receive a job offer on-the-spot. According to an Amazon press release: Beginning November 1, the recently announced Amazon $15 minimum wage will apply to all hourly associates at Dallas Fort Worth area facilities and this is on top of Amazon’s industry-leading benefits, which apply for full-time, part-time, and seasonal associates. Amazon associates will also have access to the innovative Career Choice program, which pre-pays 95% of tuition for courses in high-demand fields and flexible schedules and Career Skills, which trains hourly associates in critical job skills like resume writing, how to communicate effectively, and computer basics.
