Senator Ted Cruz Says His Campaign Has Raised 12M in Third Quarter

Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, who is in a tight battle to defend his seat, says he raised more than 12-million in the third quarter — a big jump, amid the massive campaign war chest of his Democratic challenger, Beto O’Rourke.

According to the Texas Tribune, the Cruz campaign says the figure is a record for a U.S. Senate race in Texas.

Cruz made the announcement during a campaign rally in Plano Thursday with Donald Trump Jr.

It’s not expected to top O’rourke’s third-quarter numbers, which have not been released yet.

Meantime, Senator Cruz spoke with reporters after the rally saying that he believes Brett Kavanaugh will be confirmed as the next Supreme Court Justice.
