Frisco, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A Frisco couple out for a walk stumbled across a loaded handgun in the grass, right across the street from a middle school 15 minutes before school let out.
The two were on their daily route when the husband saw the weapon, with five bullets in the magazine, one in the chamber, the safety off, and the hammer back.
He immediately picked it up and turned it in to police so no one exiting Cobb Middle School would curiously pick it up.
W-F-A-A reports the police department is working to trace it to its owner.
