Murder charges have been filed against the estranged boyfriend of a Grand Prairie woman.

Grand Prairie (WBAP/KLIF) – 34 year old Nathaniel Mitchell was already in jail charged with aggravated assault for the September 21 beating of Donna Alexander when he was charged with her murder. The charge was upgraded when Alexander died a week after she was attacked. Mitchell remains in the Tarrant County Correction Center in lieu of a $250,000 bond. Donna Alexander came to national attention when she opened the Anger Room in Deep Ellum, a place where visitors paid to smash things as a way to relieve the stress in their lives.

A vigil for Alexander is scheduled for 6:00 o’clock this (Monday) evening at Cole Park in Dallas.
