Plano Police Investigating Early Morning Apartment Shooting

PLANO (WBAP/KLIF News) — Plano Police are looking for a shooter and victim after an early morning report of shots fired at a Northwest Plano apartment complex.

The call came into police just before 5:00 Thursday morning from an apartment near Parkwood and Harry Cook Boulevard, not far from the Shops at Legacy. Early reports to police claim a car was speeding through the complex, and that shots were fired at the vehicle.

“We’re checking local hospitals. We’re checking around trying to locate the vehicle and locate him,” said Officer David Tilley.

He said shell casings were found at the complex, and that a woman claims her boyfriend called her saying he was shot. Police say they are still working to determine a motive behind the situation.
