DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – A man died after being injured while riding a scooter in Dallas.
Police say the accident happened in the 500 block of South Munger. The injured rider asked a witness to call a Lyft ride but when that ride arrived, the scooter rider was unresponsive.
The man was taken to Baylor hospital where he was eventually pronounced dead Sunday afternoon.
Investigators found the remains of the scooter which had broken in half. No other debris was found.
Responding officers described scrapes and bruising to the man’s hands and lower extremities.
