Two of Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders Captured

AUSTIN – (WBAP/KLIF) – Texas Department of Public Safety announces two Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders have been arrested this week.  32 year old Joseph Michael Gore was arrested Tuesday, August 21rst in Marble Falls, and 46 year old Raul Alejandro Martinez, arrested Monday August 20th at a San Antonio home.

The U S Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force arrested Gore.  He’d been wanted since February of this since leaving his Big Lake (Reagan County) address without notifying law enforcement.  Gore’s criminal history includes a 2013 conviction for aggravated sexual assault of a child, and a 2014 conviction for sexual assault of a child.  This arrest was the result of a tip.

Martinez was nabbed by San Antonio Police Department officers at a residence. He’d been wanted since June of 2018 since taking off from his last known address in Laredo.  A total of seven felony warrants had been issued since then by the Laredo Police Department, Webb County, the U.S. Marshals Service and DPS special agents.

So far this year, DPS and other agencies have arrested 23 Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders, including 13 sex offenders, and nine gang members, and $31,500 in rewards have been paid for tips resulting in arrests.
