Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – The Centers for Disease Control says more than 100 cases of measles have been reported in 21 states so far this year, nearly as many as were confirmed in all of last year. Texas is one of those states with at least 6 cases confirmed in Ellis County, all of them among people were were unvaccinated. The state Department of Health Services worries that’s becoming a trend. It reports more than 56,000 Texas school children opted out of the legally required vaccinations in the last school year, making them and everyone around them vulnerable to the disease. The C.D.C. report concludes we could be on the verge of an outbreak.
