FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – The City of Fort Worth proposed a $1.9 billion budget for 2019. City Manager David Cooke said they are planning to do a lot with the funds. Cooke said It will lower property tax by 2 cents. Cooke said the city plans to build a new fire station, library and will add $10.2 million to the general fund for pension. The budget will also increase cash funding to repair streets, improve neighborhood safety and add to parks.
