Coppell – (WBAP/KLIF) – If you’ve been waiting for an important piece of mail in North Texas, you may greet as good news the re-opening of the U S Postal Service mail sorting facility in Coppell. It was closed last Tuesday when USPS says four gallons of mercury in an improperly mailed package spilled. Incoming mail was then sent to other facilities for processing and delivery, but it’s always the most important piece of mail you’re waiting for that aggravates you when it’s delayed. USPS says Hazmat took the week to clean up the Coppell facility, and the re-opening Monday afternoon means you should – soon – be seeing that eagerly awaited envelope in your mailbox.
