Fort Worth Man Test Fires a 3D Gun at Local Gun Range

Dallas-Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Michael Lynn owns ‘3-D Print Everything’ in Fort Worth, and he manufactured a plastic gun called ‘The Liberator,’ made with the controversial online blueprints made available by an Austin man.

Lynn had his gun, which he reportedly made with $10 worth of plastic, test fired at Eagle Gun Range in Farmers Branch; WFAA-TV cameras documented what happened.

The gun was placed in a vice and a long string was attached to the trigger. After everyone was moved to a safe distance, range owner David Prince pulled the string.

The gun exploded in all directions. Prince said he was glad they used a string for the test firing.

Meantime, Lynn likened the gun to holding an M-90 in your hand and considered it “very dangerous.”
