Denton County, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – In a plea deal Thursday, a 70-year old former Denton County teacher was sentenced to probation in connection with sexually assaulting several male students over several years in his home between 2000 and 2006.
David Paul Green, was one of the founders of the private St. Anthony School in Carrollton in 1998; he taught at the school until his retirement in 2010.
According to the Dallas Morning News, Green, of Wills Point “was convicted on five counts of injury to a child. He received deferred adjudication probation for 10 years under the plea agreement, which avoided a trial in which the victims would have had to testify.”
Green was arrested in 2014, after at least three former students complained about his inappropriate behavior.
Under terms of the deal, Green could be supervised for the rest of his life, according to the Dallas Morning News.
