Another lawsuit has been filed over Irving’s big entertainment complex

Irving (WBAP/KLIF) – Another lawsuit has been filed against the city of Irving and the developer of the Toyota Music Factory as a result of the May 29 abrupt closures of five restaurants and bars owned by Billy Bob Barnett. Barnett has sued the developer for breach of contract. An Irving citizens group is also suing on the grounds the necessary certificates of occupancy were fraudulently obtained. The latest lawsuit comes from contractor Highland Builders Inc. Highland says it’s still owed more than $2 million for the work it did on the now-closed portion of the entertainment complex.
