DALLAS (KLIF/WBAP) – Several states have won a temporary injunction to block blueprints for 3D Printed guns from being posted on the internet a second time.
Back in 2011, Texas-Based Defense Distributed posted design files for handguns and semi-automatic rifles that can be used with 3D printers.
The federal government blocked the designs due to security fears. However, the designs’ owner reached a deal to re-post them, August 1st.
Late yesterday evening, a hearing was held after several states filed a motion to block that from happening.
Attorney Warren Norred joined Dave this morning, to talk about what he thought would happen with the case.
