Man Charged in Death of Dallas Police Officer Released from Jail

Adrian Breedlove

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The man charged with Intoxication Manslaughter in the death of a Dallas Police Officer is out of jail.
According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Adrian Breedlove was released Tuesday afternoon and taken to be fitted for a leg monitor.

“We received orders from the court that he was good to go,” said Dallas County Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Raul Reyna. “So we released him to the special program and they came and picked him up.”

Breedlove was initially released the day after he allegedly hit and killed Senior Corporal Jamie Givens but was brought back to receive conditions for his bond. The court said he was a danger to himself and he was held on suicide watch until Tuesday.
