Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Visitation and funeral services have been set for Dallas Police motorcycle officer Jamie Givens. Givens was hit and killed by a suspected drunk driver early Saturday morning while directing traffic for a funeral procession. His family has decided visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano. The funeral service will be held the next day, Thursday, at 11:00 am, also at Prestonwood Baptist Church. In addition there will be a candlelight vigil for Givens Monday evening, 7:30 pm at the police department’s central substation, 334 South Hall Street.
