Texas Built Fighter Aircraft presented at the White House, Made in America Event

(WBAP/KLIF) The Texas portion of the Made in America event at the White House was based out of Fort Worth.

The F-35 Lightning Fighter Aircraft built by Lockheed Martin was on display at the event. Lockheed’s Chief  Test Pilot Al Norman says the F-35 Program is the ideal example of American leadership.

“We now have a fighter aircraft that’s not only is tactical but can also be used as a strategic asset around the world,” Norman said

He said President Donald Trump had positive remarks on the design. Norman said in terms of innovation the aircraft has unmatched fifth-generation fighter jet technologies, including supersonic speed, advanced sensors and weapon capabilities.

He says with its capabilities, it will give our military an advantage leading into the future.
