Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – As of early this morning, a handful of two-way roads in fort worth’s west 7th district are now permanently one-way streets.
Already saw one driver going the “new wrong way” on Foch St in Fort Worth’s W 7th district. Spoke to someone who lives over here who said he can see it taking people a long time to get used to. Watched one driver turn wrong way, back out, correct self. More @WBAP247NEWS @570KLIF pic.twitter.com/HJd1por1lR

It’s the city’s way of making the booming district less congested and safer for pedestrians.
Mark Como lives in the area and says traffic has been a problem.
“The car traffic is heavy, all the time because people are trying to get around here. West 7th is backed up all the time so, they go around, trying to do the back roads.”
The affected roads are Foch, Norwood, Morton, and Bledsoe.
Looks like “Christmas” came half an hour early on West 7th in Funkytown…one-way signs going live now. @WBAP247NEWS @570KLIF pic.twitter.com/9JNwZOktnb
