Grand Prairie (WBAP/KLIF) – Three separate pursuits of two car-stealing brothers stretched across a large part of the metroplex Saturday, and involved at least three police departments. It began in Grand Prairie when 20 year old Joshua Aguilera allegedly stole a car and drove off followed by his twin brother Jonathan in another vehicle. Jonathan crashed a short distance away, and was quickly arrested. Joshua then crashed his stolen vehicle a little later near I-30 and Westmoreland. However, he ran into a nearby scrap yard and carjacked a second vehicle, a pickup truck and pressure washer trailer. Joshua Aguilera managed to make it across the city to I-35E and Corinth Parkway where he ran over some DPS spike strips, and wrecked for the second time. That time the police were on him right away, and he was arrested. He and Jonathan are both in jail facing a variety of charges.
