PLANO (WBAP/KLIF News) – Plano has been named the 5th best city in the United States to drive in.
That’s according to a WalletHub study, which compares the top 100 most populated cities in the country.
The study is based on metrics like the cost of car ownership and maintenance, traffic, safety and access to cars and maintenance.
This man drives in Plano everyday and said he wasn’t surprised by the ranking.
“It’s pretty laid back…traffic has gotten worse on Highway 121 especially…more volume…slower but I don’t see people driving crazy,” he said.
This North Texan said although traffic is increasing, drivers in Plano seem to be more laid back.
“When I think of driving, I think about how people drive…accidents…aggressive driving and so I think people are pretty happy around here,” he said.
Plano was not the top Texas city in the study. Corpus Christi came in 2nd on the list.
Raleigh, North Carolina earned the top spot in the study.
