(WBAP/KLIF) – On Saturday, Dallas will be shining bright with honor. The campaign is called ‘Honor Our Heroes’ and the City of Dallas has chosen 6 days in 2018 when Downtown will shine especially bright. Some of the days chosen are Memorial Day, Independence Day and even International Fire Fighters Day. Saturday is the next day to light up downtown to honor the four Dallas Police Officers and the Dart Officer who were murdered by a sniper in Downtown Dallas on July 7th of 2016. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the remembrance by lighting up Downtown with Blue Lights.
