Bank of America has restored the oldest living veteran’s stolen money

Austin (WBAP/KLIF) – The oldest living U.S. veteran has his money back. Someone managed to get into 112 year old Austin resident Richard Overton’s bank account, and drained it of every cent he had in the world. Overton requires 24 hour care. He has four caretakers who switch off 12 hour shifts. Austin Police and federal authorities are investigating, but so far report little progress at finding the perpetrators. Wednesday Bank of America took it upon itself to restore Overton’s stolen money, so he’s back to doing what he enjoys most: sitting on the porch, smoking cigars, and sipping whiskey.
