Dallas  (WBAP/KLIF) –Five people are arrested at a Saturday immigration policy protest outside the Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in Dallas.    Dallas Police say four face charges of blocking a public roadway; one is accused of assaulting an officer.  About twenty five hundred people turned out at the Dallas immigration rally beginning at City Hall.

More protests; marches and rallies, were held in Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, McAllen, and El Paso, among other Texas cities.

Nationwide, more than six hundred rallies and/or marches protesting the Trump Administration’s “zero tolerance” policy separating children from undocumented family members, where and how the children are held, and reunification concerns.  Additional issues are in the mix, including whether or not undocumented immigrants seeking asylum are granted a hearing or immediately deported.
