DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Three Dallas Police Officers are facing gambling related charges and are on administrative leave.
The Dallas Police Department said Thursday three of its Officers turned themselves in following an investigation by the Public Integrity Unit.
Senior Corporal Edward Van Meter Junior and Senior Corporal Roger Williams were charged with Gambling Promotion. Sergeant Shannon Browning was charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, Gambling Promotion, and Money Laundering.
All three are SWAT Officers.
