Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – A shuttle bus driver who was facing a murder charge for the killing of another bus driver last year on the T.C.U. campus has killed himself. Eric Hampton was driving a bus for Roadrunner Charters last November when he got into an altercation with fellow bus driver 51 year old David Mitchell. According to Fort Worth Police Hampton fired at least one shot at Mitchell, but missed, so he ran Mitchell down with his bus. Mitchell died of his injuries three weeks later. Hampton shot himself to death a few days ago while out on bond awaiting trial.
