DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The State Fair of Texas has released the headliner lineup schedule for the fall event. Karissa Condoianis with the State Fair said one more artist will be added for Columbus Day but that the rest of the lineup is set in stone. The fair is also adding a new event this year called “Flashback Fridays.” The concert series kicks off opening day with the first Flashback Friday act, a tribute to Elvis Presley by Kraig Parker.
“You can stand and be out on the turf to watch the concert or just enjoy it as you walk by. You can grab a drink at the Texas Ice House across the way and just enjoy all the live music, not only at the main stage but throughout the ground,” Condoianis said.
All headline performances will appear on the Chevrolet Main Stage and other musical acts will appear on the Midway Stage and the Dr Pepper Stage. Most performances will take place at either 5:30 or 8:30 in the evening with a lineup that includes Austin Mahone, Ludacris, Hunter Hayes and many others. The fair runs September 28th to October 21st. The full schedule, updates and other information can be found at bigtex.com.
