Win A 25 Thousand Dollar Grant For a Neighborhood Project

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Neighborhoods across the country have an opportunity to receive a 25-thousand dollar grant.

State Farm’s Neighborhood Assist Program will begin accepting 2000 applications tomorrow for it’s 40 competitive grants, valued at 25 thousand dollars each. The company is seeking to fund neighborhood projects involved in education, safety and community development.

The grant application features only three questions, limited to 1,000 characters, and an opportunity to upload pictures.

Here’s how the easy process works:

· Applications | June 6-June 15 or when 2,000 submissions are reached: Submit a cause at www.neighborhoodassist.com

· Voting | Aug. 15-Aug.24: Ultimately, voters will decide which community improvement projects win.

· Winners Announced | Sept. 25: The 40 causes that receive the most votes will each win a $25,000 grant

Last year, 3.1 Million votes were cast in support of causes, selecting winners from small towns and big cities. Since the program began, State Farm has awarded $6 million to more than 200 organizations. Finalists will be announced in August and winners will be announced in September.
