DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — The City of Dallas Animal Services department is putting out an urgent call for animal lovers to pick a pet free of charge until further notice.
The shelter is above capacity with a total of 700 animals ready for adoption, including kittens. The cat shelter is at 134 percent capacity. Even if you can’t adopt kitten they’re asking that you consider a temporary foster arrangement.
You can adopt a pet at the main adoption center at 1818 N. Westmoreland Road or at the PetSmart Everyday Adoption Center at 16821 N. Coit Road.
