DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas Police officials have made a decision to increase security outside the city’s police stations. The change in security was made after someone opened fire Saturday night near the city’s Central Division Police Station.
According to the Dallas Morning News, police Sargeant Warren Mitchell said someone was shooting, but it was not clear if they were shooting at the police station or in another direction. Shots were also fired at a security guard in South Dallas by someone in a vehicle that matched the description of the one near the police station.
No details about the changes have been released. No injuries were reported. Both shootings are under investigation.
