Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Several Dallas fire crews remain on the scene where a massive mulch fire was raging earlier at Living Earth Technologies in Northwest Dallas.
The fire broke out around 2am at the tree recylcing facility on California Crossing near Northwest Highway. The cause is not known, but according photo-journalist Mike Forbes of our media partner WFAA-TV, the fire, which broke out in what’s known as a ‘dry mulch’ pile, is common at the facility.
Raging flames have given way to smoke as crews remain on the scene putting out hot spots.
