Grand Prairie, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A bed bug infestation at the Spanish Villa Apartments in Grand Prairie has angered tenants.
WFAA-TV reports apartment workers dumped large piles of infested furniture outside the building where tenants had been evicted.
It’s an ongoing problem according to one tenant who says comples management won’t do anything about it.
“We constantly having to throw our beds away, having to buy our own equipment and stuff to fumigate cause they won’t do it, said one tenant”
The City of Grand Prairie says since bed bugs are considered a nuisance, the city has no legal recourse to force attention to the matter.
