PLANO (WBAP/KLIF) – A Plano man is dead and his roommate is the suspect in his shooting death.
According to the Plano Police Department, Officers responded to a report of a Shooting Wednesday in the 5400 block of Independence Parkway. Officers entered the apartment where the shooting took place and found a deceased male with a gunshot wound. It was reported that an altercation occurred and the suspect shot the victim. The suspect was outside the apartment and taken into custody. He was identified as 38-year old Leighton Thomas Thompson of Plano. The victim was identified as 49-year old Ronald Charles Zuberer, also of Plano.
The investigation remains on going by Plano Police Investigators.
