Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Security screeners at Dallas Love Field Airport are now using robotic carts to further screen suspicious bags. When a checked bag triggers an alarm, the new Mobile Inspection Tables deliver the bags to agents who search them for illegal items. The Transportation Security Administration says the new tables will make bag screening more efficient and prevent backups. In addition, they will eliminate the need for agents to push, pull or lift heavy bags. Love Field is the first airport in the country to use these carts on all checked bags.
