Tarrant County, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – The murder trial for a 31-year old man charged with killing a 24-year old woman from Texas Woman’s University has begun.
In his opening statement, Tarrant County Assistant District Attorney Lucas Allen says Jackie Vandergriff’s death came right as she was starting a “promising: career.
Prosecutors say Charles Dean Bryant killed Vandergriff and is seen on video buying a shovel at a Walmart, filling up a gas canister on the night of her death.
Vandergriff was found burned and dismembered hours later.
