DALLAS, TX. (WBAP/KLIF News) – U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy Devos will be in North Texas today.
Devos’ first stop will be at the Birdville Center of Technology and Advanced Learning in North Richland Hills. There, Secretary Devos will be participating in a variety of hands-on classes and observe Birdville’s innovative techniques to help students identify their passions and follow multiple pathways to their careers.
The secretary will also visit the Urban Specialists headquarters in downtown Dallas, then tour Billy Earl Dade Middle School and later meet with civic, business, law enforcement and educational leaders at various locations.
Activist group, Next Generation Action Network, says they plan to protest Devos and her education policies during Devos’ stop at Dade Middle School in South Dallas.
