DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A SXSW (South By South West) concert performance is canceled in Austin after sponsors receive a bomb threat. City officials report the bomb threat was received via email on Saturday. After recent package bombs in Austin, sponsors chose to cancel a performance by the band ” The Roots”. 26-year old Trevor Weldon Ingram was arrested on Sunday, and faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
According to the Associated Press, authorities searched the concert site, but did not find anything suspicious. There are 3 unresolved cases of package bomb explosions in Austin this month.
