WICHITA FALLS(WBAP/KLIF)- Firefighters from several cities in the metroplex, including Frisco, Plano and flower mound headed out Saturday to help fight wild fires in the panhandle.
Close to two dozen men and women will be stationed at Wichita Falls for the next seven days.
Over 20,000 acres have burned within the last week due to windy and extremely conditions in and around Amarillo.
