Plano, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A Plano community group says it has gathered enough signatures necessary to have embattled Councilman Tom Harrison recalled from office.
The move is in response to Harrison’s anti-muslim/anti-black social media posts. The councilman has been censured, but the group ‘One Plano, Our Plano’ want him out.
Spokesman Michael Tomas, told the Plano Star Courier the group came together naturally, at first as separate conversations online, and soon as a unified voice.
The petition must be delivered to city hall by April 5th.
