FRISCO(WBAP/KLIF)- After years of searching, the City of Frisco has found a developer for prime real estate around Dr. Pepper ballpark. The almost 11 acre parking lot will be developed into to potentially 300,000 square feet of office space and two 400 space parking garages by LandPlan Inc. of Plano.
“One of the things that we have been looking for around the ballpark and convention center is to try and find ways to make that area more walkable and have more amenities around there,” according to Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney.
Mayor Cheney says the development is long overdue and should have been done when the city first purchased the land four years ago.
